Ignite's Elite Youth Set To Compete In 2022 Clorox Rising Stars

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Feb. 1, 2022 NBA G League Ignite will be well-represented at NBA All-Star 2022, with four elite youth players and two Ignite alumni competing on Friday, Feb. 18 in 2022 Clorox Rising Stars at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.

Ignite elite youth players MarJon Beauchamp, Dyson Daniels, Jaden Hardy and Scoot Henderson were selected by NBA G League head coaches to participate in the Clorox Rising Stars games. Later this week, each of the four will be drafted onto one of four seven-player teams, which will also consist of players chosen from among a pool of 12 first-year and 12 second-year NBA players.

Ignite’s current players will also share the court with two members of the team’s inaugural roster in Jalen Green (Houston Rockets) and Jonathan Kuminga (Golden State Warriors), who were both top 10 picks in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Along with playing in Friday’s Rising Stars action, Ignite will play the Cleveland Charge in the inaugural NBA G League Next Gem Game on Sunday, Feb. 20 as part of the All-Star festivities. The game is set for 2 p.m. ET from the Wolstein Center.
