HENDERSON, Nev., Nov. 30, 2022 NBA G League Ignite (3-9) fall in a nail biting ending to the Stockton Kings (4-4), 113-111, Wednesday night at The Dollar Loan Arena in Henderson, Nev.

Leonard Miller led Ignite as he notched his second double-double of the season with 25 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Mojave King who tallied 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Cameron Young, Pooh Jeter and Efe Abogidi also had strong outings as Young finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, while Jeter recorded 15 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Abogidi posted 12 points and 5 rebounds in 15 minutes of action.

Ignite would trail early in the first quarter as it faced a 28-16 deficit with a little over three minutes remaining in the period. Ignite would go on a 13-2 run to cut the lead down to two points until the Kings drained a last second three-point to boast its lead up to four points heading into the second period. Ignite would continue to battle in a back-and-forth second quarter and would eventually take its biggest lead of the game (8) and finish the half up 63-55.

The Kings opened the third quarter scoring eight unanswered point to even the score, 63-63, and would eventually take a 1-point lead heading into the fourth after trading buckets for majority of the quarter. In an entertaining fourth quarter that seen six lead changes and three ties, the Kings would take a 7-point advantage (106-99) with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. Down five, Mojave King would close the gap by converting a 4-point play with less than two minutes to go. Ignite went on to take a 1-point lead with 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter until Keon Ellis of the Stars, who poured in 19 of his 27 points in the second half, converted his own 4-point play to lift the Stars past Ignite to seal its fourth victory of the season.

The Stars were paced by Keon Ellis, who finished with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists, and Chima Moneke, who posted a double-double with 21 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Neemias Queta tallied 24 points and 4 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists.
