SANTA CRUZ, Calif., March 16, 2024 NBA G League Ignite (2-28) fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors (18-11), 131-107, on Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, Calif.

Izan Almansa led Ignite after notching his sixth double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-16 shooting from the field. Babacar Sane followed with 21 points and nine rebounds, while London Johnson added 16 points, eight assists, three rebounds and two blocks.

Kendric Davis led the way for the Warriors with a triple-double of 15 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds. Donovan Williams posted a game-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shots from the field, while Gui Santos pitched in 25 points, six assists and five rebounds.

In an entertaining first half, the Warriors held a seven-point (58-51) advantage at the halfway mark after shooting 46.9 percent from the field, including 42.1 percent from the three-point line. Javan Johnson paced the Warriors after pouring in 14 of his 22 points in the half on 5-of-6 shooting from the field, including 4-of-4 from behind the arc. Despite its struggles from the three-point line (29.4%) in the first half, Ignite kept things close after Izan Almansa posted 15 points and six rebounds on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. The Warriors pulled away in the second half after outscoring Ignite by 17 points (73-56). Gui Santos and Donavan Williams helped the Warriors take a commanding lead after combining for 34 points in the half to secure the win.
