HENDERSON, Nev., March 23, 2023 NBA G League Ignite (11-20) fell in its regular season home finale to the Oklahoma City Blue (13-19), 100-94, on Thursday night at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev. 

Pooh Jeter led Ignite with 19 points, two rebounds and two assists on 6-of-11 shots from the field, including 5-of-6 from the three-point line. Cameron Young finished with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals, while London Johnson pitched in 17 points. Mojave King (15 points, 13 rebounds) and Shareef O’Neal (14 points, 10 rebounds) each record a double-double.

Jahmi’us Ramsey paced the Blue with a game-high 26 points with four rebounds. Jaden Shackelford followed with 21 points, two rebounds and two assists on 7-of-15 shots from the field. Sacha Killeya-Jones recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

After taking a 19-point lead in the first half, Ignite seemed to have control of the game after five players scored in double figures heading into halftime. The Blue took control of the game in the third quarter by outscoring Ignite 27-9 in the frame to erase its deficit and take its first lead. Jahmi’us Ramsey poured in 14 of his 26 points in the quarter to help the Blue climb back into the game. Ignite’s nine points in the period were its lowest point total in a quarter this season. The Blue held Ignite to 17.4 percent shooting from the field and 10 percent from behind the arc in that span. The Blue extended its lead by 10 points early in the fourth quarter as it looked to coast to victory. Ignite battled back to cut its deficit to two points with under six minutes remaining in regulation. Ignite remained in striking distance for the rest of the game but struggled to convert late as the Blue sealed the victory after draining four consecutive free throws.
