HENDERSON, Nev., March 23, 2024 NBA G League Ignite (2-30) fell to the Salt Lake City Stars (18-13), 128-87, on Saturday at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev.

Ignite was led by Gabe York after posting a final stat line of 18 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals on 7-of-15 shots from the field. London Johnson followed closely behind with 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. Dink Pate and Babacar Sane finished with 13 points apiece, while Sane added five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Elijah Cain (21 points) and Isaiah Miller (21 points) combined for 42 points on 16-of-25 shooting from the field, including 5-of-8 from the three-point line. Nick Ongenda followed with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Taevion Kinsey posted 18 points and eight assists.

Ignite found itself in a hole early in the first half following a slow start as the Stars took a commanding 25-point lead (47-22) with 8:19 remaining in the second quarter. Trailing 49-25 in the frame, Ignite ripped off a 15-2 run to cut its deficit to 11 points late in the half. The Stars quieted the large crowd of 2589 fans, the most this season, by scoring the next five points on the way to a 61-45 advantage at the halfway mark. The Stars reclaimed the momentum in the second half en route to take a 44-point lead, the largest of the game, in the fourth quarter. The Stars outscored Ignite 67-42 in the second half to coast to the victory.
