Game Notes: 11/21/22: Ignite vs. Ontario Clippers

NBA G League Ignite will head to Toyota Arena to begin its four-game road trip. Ignite will face the one-loss Ontario Clippers in a two-game series beginning on Monday, tipping off at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET. The action will air on and the NBA App. After starting the season with three-straight losses, Ignite has won three of its last four outings. The Clippers sit atop of the west regional Showcase Cup standings with a 6-1 record. Ignite ranks second in the G League in assists to turnover ratio (1.8) through seven games.



Ignite scored 62 points from inside the paint last time out, which was 20 points more than Salt Lake City Stars.


In Nov. 18 game against Salt Lake City, Ignite had two players who recorded 21-point scoring nights with Pooh Jeter and Mojave King.


Babacar Sane tallied a season-high 15 points with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Sane shot 46 percent (6-13) from the field and 66 percent (2-3) from behind the arc.

Eric Mika notched his first double-double of the season and the third from an Ignite player on the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while also dishing out 5 assists in Nov. 18 game against Salt Lake City.
